March 23 and 24 - 8" Four O'Clock Floral Trivet
2-Day Workshop | 10am – 4pm
Beginners welcome. Some experience is helpful but not necessary.
This class will cover the basics of punch needle in brief during the first hour and will spend most of day 1 punching the pattern. Day 2 will begin with finishing the pattern and whip-stitching the final piece.
Beginners are welcome and students who have some basic experience with punch needle or rug hooking will also enjoy this class.
Students who are not quite ready to finish their project on day 2 may either take their project (with loaner frame) home to finish it in time for day 2 or may continue working on their piece on day 2 and complete the hem at their own pace with the provided detailed instructions.
Registration Fee Includes:
- Oxford Punch Needle Stitch Gauge.
- 20” x 20” Monk’s Cloth backing fabric with pattern outline.
- 2 oz of bulky weight rug yarn (as needed for project)
Supplies available during class time:
- 14” x 14” gripper strip rug frame.
- Oxford Punch Needle. (#9 or #8 Regular)
- Cloth and embroidery scissors.
- Needle and thread for finishing your piece.
- Sewing pins.
