Punch Needle Safari Coaster Kit – Otter

DOES NOT INCLUDE Monk's cloth, punch needles or gripper frame & cover. 
You may create this on monk's cloth or primitive linen. Read below for sizes. 

This is same kit used in an online class offered through The Oxford Rug Hooking School and now available as a kit for the general public. Though the class is not available at this time, the kit comes with the step-by-step instructions that accompanied the class. The instructions include a punching strategy with Oxford FINE Punch Needle sizes as well as a color map and no-sew finishing instructions. 

This kit comes with a stencil to trace onto the top of your monk's stretched monk's cloth (face up) or you may use the included printed pattern to trace by using a window or light table.  Tracing instructions are included and you will also receive a guide to how many you can fit onto your monk's cloth. 

This pattern will fit on a 6"x 6" Oxford Frame and you may also choose to trace many onto a larger fabric / frame size. The amount of yarn provided is enough for at least one coaster. The colors are identified so you can order more yarn from www.amyoxford.com. 

This class may be repeated in the future and this kit is normally discounted (at $35) for students who are signed up for the online class. The Otter Kit ($35 US) which must be purchased directly from the instructor includes:

• 8 colors of Violet Jane Fine rug yarn (for the Otter pattern)
• pattern stencil

• Sharpie marker
• wood coaster frame
• round wood shape
• foam sheet adhesive
• 6" nylon strap - black*
• bag charm clasp - bronze
• masking tape (color varies)

*NOTE: The photo shows a brown nylon strap. The strap included in this kit is black.
